After drinking a virgin bloody mary this weekend (long story), I have fallen in love with V8. Only 70 calories plus carrots, celery, beets, parsley and more.
I forgot to mention that the low sodium V8 tastes like butt compared with the real deal. Don't scrimp. If you do go with low sodium, I recommend: a dash of salt olives hearty dashes of Frank's Red Hot

Hooray, Jen! Welcome to the V8 club!
Is it as spicy as the one at HP Tavern and Grill?
Do you pour it over ice or drink it from the can?
I don't know... I want to be in the V8 club, but it seems kind of intense/scary. Beets? Ick.
WHAT? You're just now getting into V8? This is the nectar of the Gods for me; insta-boost and vitamins for the day. It gets me going.

Thank goodness I actually got launched on V8s with low-sodium. Now, I wouldn't know the diff.
And yes, Gina, beets are awesome. I love beets. But no, the canned ones are not nearly as spicy as the one at the Tavern Grill.
The first one I had, I added horseradish and drank it over ice, but I don't think that's necessary. Now I just drink it out of a cold can. Yummy!
